1. Runout Accuracy

  • Standard collets: ≤ 8 μm at 3×D

  • Precision collets: ≤ 5 μm at 3×D

  • Ultra-precision collets: ≤ 3 μm at 3×D

Technical impact:
Lower runout improves surface finish, reduces tool vibration, and extends tool life, especially in high-speed milling and drilling.


2. Clamping Range

  • Typical clamping range: 1.0 mm

  • Wide-range collets: 1.5–2.0 mm

Technical impact:
Narrow clamping ranges provide higher concentricity and better repeatability.
